Isneg is the people living in the Northwesterly end of Nothern Luzon in the upperhalf of Cordillera Province known as Kalinga-Apayao. It has 4,500 estimated population in the year 1988. It is described as "dark tropical forest". It is endowed with the natural resources.Isneg has a kind, hospitable and generous manner with the spirit of self reliance and courage. They have a clearly artistic in their temperament on the emotional nature of a person.They adopt the custom of South China and learn to pratice jar burial. After that, they also adapt the custom of Chinese and bought the porcelain prices and glass beads. Their main staple food is rice, and the other is corn, taro,sweet potato,sugarcane,bananas,yams. It is all preceded by appropriate rituals and ceremonies. And their manner of courtship is that the girl's parent allow this to take place in their house,in their presence,and when the suitor is being acceptable the suitor may allow to sleep with the girl, and it last several nights. The Isneg also have three anitos.Aside of Isneg, it has also a people living in western porion of the Cordillera Region in Norhtern Luzon, called Tingguian. At thier century it is a time of fighting to fight for their human rights.Like Isneg, Tingguian also eat rice. Their other product is basket and blankets. Their language is Ilocano and Tingguian. Their major crafts are rice,corn and rootcrops, such commercial produce as coffee, tabaco and cocoonut.Hudhud is the people cosmic earth Ifugao. A group of people living in Ifugao province, the most prominent at the mountain. They are known collectively as Igorots, actually consistence of the major groups. They are the most advanced. Their main source of livelihood are harvesting rice and vegetable. They have variance type of musical instruments and songs for different occasions.The Oggood is the people living in the mountain province, known as Bontoc.They are the only people in this area known to have law on warfare, including the making of peace parts.Their main agriculture product is also rice, of which it has two kinds, the chinacorn, which main superior variety and pak-ang. They have also sweet potato and other crops.The Sudsud, the third largest cultural community in the mountain province known as the Kankanay. The people that has a apperance of brown skin,large eyes, and prominent cheekbones. They have three types of argriculture, slashand burn, terracing and horticulture. Their primary sources of food is hunting and fishing.The Ullalim, people living in the Southern half of the province Kalinga Apayao, known as Kalinga, Kalinga which means fighter on head hunting.
